Germany’s theatre of democracy is coming to an end – Rhineland Palatinate has fired the starting gun

FAZ AfD 11.07.2025

Frankfurt. Rhineland Palatinate does not want any more AfD members in public service. State Minister of the Interior Michael Ebling (SPD) stated on Thursday that any applicants must in future declare that they do not belong to an “extremist organisation” and have not belonged to one in the last five years. Anyone who refuses to make this declaration and cannot eliminate any doubts about their own loyalty to the constitution will not be allowed to become a civil servant or employed in public service. To this end a “regularly updated” list of “extremist groups and organisations” will be consulted. This list will contain organisations “on which there will be sufficient” indicators of anti-constitutional aspirations. “For this reason the AfD will also be included on the list”, a statement from the Ministry of the Interior states.
Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung, 11 July, 2025

Democracy means “rule by the people”. This is the literal translation of the Greek term; because it was Greece where it was first practised, by means of the constitution as always (because there is no other way), and even the modern Greek constitution, which came about in opposition to (real, historical) fascism, ends with the fitting words: “This constitution is worth as much as the vigilance of the Greek people”. Now, that applies equally to other peoples… whereby in this context “people” (δῆμος) always means “the entirety of all adult citizens”.

The basic form of popular rule (“democracy”) is voting in the people’s assembly. Since the size of more modern states has not permitted this for a long time (although today, with a little good will, it would be possible electronically), representatives, so-called members of parliament, must be elected as a substitute for it. If the people cannot vote for any representative they want to, then the people do not rule, i.e. there is then no longer any democracy. This state of affairs existed, for example, under Hitler, and now it is once again being prepared across the board.

Now hardly anyone misses democracy because he (or she, which really doesn’t matter) no longer knows what the word explained above means; because by the time the Federal Republic of Germany was founded by occupiers at the latest, the Greek word although it was hammered in in propaganda terms with drums and trumpets had lost its meaning and secretly took on the other meaning of “When everyone is good and eats what’s put on the table”. That is not really very attractive and is the sad reason that hardly anyone regrets the long-running destruction of this now hollow matter, of which only formalities remained anyway, which are now also being blown to smithereens and are soon supposed to fall victim to the excavators of history.

This secret reversal of meaning of this shining political slogan to become a vague synonym for subject mentality became possible due to the militarily surrounded Eastern Bloc never being able to get on the right track, especially in economic terms, on account of its corresponding military overload caused by its opponent’s at least seven times higher strength in military terms, and for this very reason not being able to afford to practise democracy any longer, for the creation of which its core state, the Soviet Union, was founded in the first place. Its primary goal was the fight against economic blackmailability, poverty and ignorance, without whose elimination democracy is impossible; it worked in ancient Greece by means of slavery, which can now be replaced by machines, though, which the Soviet Union, ravished by war and choking under the constant wickedness of “sanctions”, lacked to the required extent, however, so that it always had to remain pitiful in economic terms under constant external pressure, which fed the envy of its population of the countries that were less damaged and at the same time more developed, and in that way blocked the development of domestic democracy. This allowed the emerging Western Bloc (it had not been a bloc before 1946, merely “the capitalist camp”), to point to the splinter in the neighbour’s eye and laugh at the elections in the Eastern Bloc, which were indeed not correct for the reasons stated above.

But the crucial point was that the only real victors of the Second World War, the USA, decided not to prevent foreign trade in their conquered territories in Western Europe, which meant that these, especially the part of Germany that had fallen to them, which had resources of very important hard coal, which the East did not have, were able to clear up their war destruction quickly and reach a wage level that was considerably higher than the worse-affected Eastern Bloc states (“Economic Miracle”). This is how the following idea formed in the minds of the (West German) people: “If we vote for the licensed parties the USA has put before us, i.e. if we’re nice and well behaved, we’ll do better than those over there.” And indeed, in West Germany only those parties existed which had already been created by the University of Maryland for the post-war occupational period as about the time, the USA entered the war and were then licensed”; the only party that did not apply to also was the only one that provided large-scale and organised resistance to Hitler and was willing to make sacrifices, (the few military persons who conspired against their master at the last minute as soon as his huge military defeat had become inevitable could only be described as “resistance fighters” by a comedian or an extremely cunning liar), i.e. the KPD (German Communist Party). Since everyone still knew this, Hitler however had been branded as the villain and they were his only determined and organised enemies, even the American occupiers could not suppress them immediately without revealing themselves as all too Hitler-like, but could only bully them until at last memories faded and the sense of servitude (on the basis of the “Economic Miracle”, which was perceived as a reward for being well-behaved) was firmly enough established and also the KPD itself had become weak due to the lack of appeal of the Eastern Bloc, which it had to remain faithful to, and finally the henchmen from Karlsruhe were able to do the anti-democratic dirty work in 1956. From then on, there was only an artificial opposition and artificial skirmishes in West Germany, but the elections were really clean, at least until recently, which once again reinforced a kind of cheap arrogance towards the Eastern Bloc (yet there was no mass disgust regarding the stinking mediaeval oil sheikh states, for example, in which there were no elections at all; the somewhat hysterical “Democracy” cries of the Western Bloc have never been really consistent).

With the option of allowing the oracle priests of Karlsruhe to ban unfavourable parties, i.e. real opposition, on the basis of extremely vaguely defined objectionable policies, the occupiers built a contact mine into the (West) German constitution, which isolated West Germany in Western Europe, in which, apart from the fascist remnant states of Spain and Portugal, and later Greece, which had been put under a kind of protected status by the USA, there was no such swinishness, and exposed it to contempt from France, Italy, Scandinavia etc.; unfortunately, this (in itself justified) contempt for the “anti-communist watchdog” on its American leash, which West Germany was frequently and rightly called, was secretly very often not based on democratic considerations but on jealousy towards the “Economic Miracle”, which was pushed to a greater extent on the bloc border than elsewhere, of course. So the entire democracy, that goal of every true leftist throughout the centuries, and therefore also ours, was on shaky ground the entire time, and the reason for this was crystallised most clearly by Marx and Engels: anyone who can be blackmailed economically (i.e. via “dismissal”) and also has to work long hours cannot gain an overview of the entirety of things, which is necessary for collective self-government and therefore for freedom. For this reason expression of any kind of opinion must never be disturbed, least of all with pogrom-style violence or even state intervention, if even a minimum of democracy is to be possible; because only unconditional and non-violent discussion can provide the overview, without which self-government rather than government from outside is not possible or would be nothing more than a cynical joke from the beginning. Marx and Engels have also clearly addressed this matter, and this is exactly why Lenin fought for reduced working hours, though this was sadly thwarted by foreign incitement and support of the civil war, without which it would have ended quickly. But that is another story.

Even though the occupiers of West Germany had had a terrible contact mine built into its constitution in order to be able to get rid of the only real and (US-) independent opposition party one day, which was a burden not only to Hitler, but also to themselves, they had still not wanted to permit any complete despotism, as was typical of Bismarck and especially of Hitler, but since former German Chancellor Willy Brandt’s constitutional violation, which paved the way, is also typical of the present, or is to become absolute now: no public official apart from the Karlsruhe oracle priests may lay hands on or assault oppositionists, in particular no government functionaries or regular courts, and no parliamentary majority.

Although this provision only leaves a single loophole for the restriction of the right to vote and thereby the abolition of democracy but does not simply unleash all the dogs in power on them, is called privilege of parties. Even if associations and similar groups may remain fair game for the government or courts, parties expressly do not. Only Willy Brandt abused this on 28 January 1972, and that is when the rot started in our state. And now this rot is to eat away an entire cavity after these first holes; this is the consequence of constitutional violator Brandt and his comrades not being punished.

But it is only possible to define a constitutional violator when one knows what a constitution is. And this is where it gets stuck again – for the exact same reason as the beautiful word “democracy” became an ugly shell for “Orwellian Sheepdom”.

The constitution (of a state) is its “Basic Law”, i.e. the entirety of all provisions under which the volitions of its seats of power (= parliaments and courts), i.e. “laws” and the “judgements” that follow them (and only them!), may become valid. It corresponds to the rule of a game (as opposed to its individual moves or throws). For centuries, it was the central demand of the middle class (and its peasant and even proletarian allies) against the nobility and royalty, especially the latter, and a great deal of blood has flowed for its hard-fought achievement, albeit in a very one-sided way, unfortunately. Today, if even mentioned, it is forgotten or talked down to some kind of ghost or wish list; how sad and scandalous! And it is all neither mysterious nor ambiguous; on the contrary, our constitution states it itself with absolute clarity in its first article:

The following basic rights shall bind the legislature, the executive and the judiciary as directly applicable law.”
(Article 1, Section 3 German Basic Law)

It could not be any clearer: “directly” excludes any “interpretation” or any other verbal acrobatics. Any member of the government (“executive” power), and certainly a member of the bureaucracy or the legal system, that puts himself above these conditions is in violation of the constitution (while a private person can only break laws); its conditions must be known to him because he has been sworn to it. But Willy Brandt was not merely a member of the government, he was the head of it, when he impudently, and supported by countless subordinate tax money gobblers, blatantly disregarded the following articles of the constitution, by adherence to which democracy is only made possible in the first place, through a contrary order (“decree”):

“No person shall be favoured or disfavoured because of sex, parentage, race, language, homeland and origin, faith or religious or political opinions.”
(Article 3, Section 3 German Basic Law)

“Every German shall be equally eligible for any public office according to his aptitude, qualifications and professional achievements.”
“Neither the enjoyment of civil and political rights nor eligibility for public office nor rights acquired in the public service shall be dependent upon religious affiliation. No one may be disadvantaged by reason of adherence or non-adherence to a particular religious denomination or philosophical creed.”
(Article 33, Sections 2 and 3 German Basic Law)

The fact that the oracle priests later followed Brandt shows not only their worthlessness; because the text of the constitution is not an I Ching or Sibylline Book, but the clearest of rules. Although the semi-dictator Adenauer, an occupiers’ puppet on the outside and the Pope’s loyal lackey on the inside, also acted in violation of the constitution on numerous occasions in the early times of confusion in order to bully certain inconvenient concentration camp survivors or have them disappear in his own prisons, after the post-war period of confusion no German leader took the liberty of doing this again, and certainly no simple bureaucrat. The breakthrough did not happen until Brandt and since then it has become possible to describe democracy here which depends on its constitution as a burnt-out ruin. It is time it was restored instead of blowing up and disposing of its wretched remains in the style of Rhineland Palatinate.

Brandt’s constitutional breach only affected verbally radical and somewhat ridiculous dwarf parties; the number of the victims whose livelihoods, professional training and thereby lives it destroyed remained in five figures, whereas Hitler, apart from the fact that he frequently enough not only took his victims’ civil lives but their physical ones too, reached seven figures. But they both violated the constitution, even when the opposing legend is often spread about Hitler, since after Hitler’s violent removal of the parliamentary blocking minority, i.e. the KPD, the SPD was used by their presence in the Reichstag as a cover for his violation of the constitution. The constitutional violation that Rhineland Palatinate has now fired the starting gun for, on the other hand, is no longer directed at insignificant and somewhat foolish dwarf parties, but against a good fifth of the entire population. In terms of size, it therefore lies somewhat between the other two German constitutional violations of the 20th century.

This takes on a particular kind of degustingness because it is based in all impudence on an unverifiable denunciation by the secret state police – unverifiable in contrast to a public court hearing, for example, because otherwise said anaerobic police would not be secret. This means that the German government has reached exactly the same level of Tsarism and its “Okhrana”. This anti-democratic perfidy also reaches an entirely new level due to the fact that this secret police, which is regularly allowed to pass judgements, is nothing other than Hitler’s Gestapo, which continued with at least 95% of its personnel, reduced in power only by its executive function, which almost makes it almost even more disgusting, and which was then mockingly renamed from Gestapo to “Protection of the Constitution”: well, they should know what “far right” means to be!

Now, the AfD is in no way radical, and the CDU (and its Bavarian counterpart) was “right” of it in fact, far right of it according to conventional definitions for decades without even the quietest of voices calling for it to be banned. In truth it is only its (albeit tentative) anti-imperialism for which the AfD is persecuted, mistreated and slandered; it seems (because we are not closely familiar with it) that it does not want to surrender the country unconditionally to that American mega-capitalism that Trump called “the swamp” and from whose training grounds (“Young Leaders”) the more important EU governments come, including ours. That’s all.

One remaining thing worthy of mention is the sad curiosity that both the victims of Brandt’s constitutional violation and today’s (have) never invoked, or at least not seriously, the constitution that is supposed to “protect” them. Brandt’s victims became either human or moral wrecks, the latter serving as the nastiest mud-slingers and pogrom troops for their former persecutors; the AfD is stupid enough to still see them as “left”, despite their complete turnaround (according to this logic, Mussolini would have been an anarchist, because that is what he started off as). The truth is, of course, the exact opposite; if you apply enough pressure you can turn a bulge into a dent. The direct reason for this strange retreat is the as good as complete downfall of authentic democratic and consequently constitutional thinking in almost all minds; the reasons have been stated. But it must be re-established as the only alternative to servitude, poverty and stultification in these minds, and any constitution may only be regarded as a tool to secure democracy – readers now know enough Greek to understand this word – and must be defended as such. This is what we are fighting for and anyone who does not want to be or become a slave must fight for it too!

For the following applies, not only to the Third Reich, which was luckless and unfortunately only fittingly judged negatively because of that, but also to existing states: there is no right to be stupid! The more people take this right on e.g. in regard to the words “democracy” and “constitution” the greater the damage will be, not only for them but also for all the others, who do not deserve it.
