Trump has walked into the trap – the peoples of the world are losing their last protector

With update from 1 July 2025

As Friedrich Engels, who was extremely well-versed in ancient history among other things, noted, "A people that oppresses another people cannot itself be free", Trump also noticed that the expansion of US imperialism to the status of absolute world domination would also bring about the deprivation of rights and impoverishment of his own people, i.e. the Americans. (The subjugation of all the peoples of the massively expanded Mediterranean region by the Romans, although initially leading to a certain degree of prosperity for them at the expense of everyone else – and for a very low number of them prosperity beyond their wildest dreams – freedom from taxation for Italian landowners and mass welfare for the countless poor in the capital cities and generous salaries for soldiers and civil servants, meant the virtually absolute impoverishment and deprivation of rights of all citizens of the empire (who now also had admittedly worthless civil rights), a development whose analogy had already begun at the time of Engels in the British Empire and is striving towards its climax in all of the old industrial states, which includes the US.) Trump, as a kind of traitor to his own ruling class, which he had not belonged to for generations, tried to fight this, and he was also, against extreme and criminal obstruction that never stopped and with the consequences of the war of destruction against the remains of Russia, successful in a crucial round, and was commissioned to carry out this self-chosen task by his people in the face of said obstruction, which was and is being carried out above all by the media and the judiciary.

As long as the US governments, which had been controlled and installed by their ruling class (by means of the media and campaign financing) without any problems before Trump, still formed the military counterpart to the Eastern Bloc, and later on at least the now bleeding remains of Russia, they still had to rein themselves in a little as regards their vassal peoples and their own people, as much as their plan of impoverishment and deprivation of rights had been determined for a long time and had been carried out decade by decade, carefully but purposefully and comprehensively. (The most important means of achieving this was and is the promotion of planetary overpopulation, or hindering any fight against it; it provides the excuse for one demand for sacrifice after another, hammered in until all the progress in freedom and wealth created in modern times has been reliably destroyed; and the mouthpieces of the leaders of this ruling American class, i.e. of Mr Soros & co, such as Schwab or his local cheerleader Ulrike Herrmann, even admit this for all the world to hear; people should become "poor but happy" in a "post-voting society", i.e. after the abolition of voting rights). But now, this right to vote unexpectedly got in the way in the last round before the destruction of the sovereignty of Russia, meaning that only election fraud, and in the vassal states either the same or putsches – like in Romania – or terror by means of groups of thugs and people tearing posters down acting with impunity, could with considerable effort prevent the continuous execution of the task that the American people had been able to elect Trump to execute and enable the monstrous war against Russia, justified with the consequences of the Maidan putsch, guided and staged by the US-governed Western Bloc, to which the remains of Russia, numbed by its Eastern Bloc defeat, reacted so wretchedly in the few days it would have been able to do better, and can now no longer make up for the damage.

But when the American people still managed to stave off prevention or renewed rigging of its elections, said ruling class, i.e. the so-called “Four Hundred” or "The Good Club", pulled out all the stops: mainly at the expense of the Europeans, who have now been forced into eternal debt bondage, especially the Germans, in the weeks in which President-elect Trump had to wait to reach office, they pumped Ukraine, which is rather ridiculous as an independent factor with a four-year supply of the finest, full of the most modern and more effective war material and instructed Israel to carry out the final solution to the Syrian question, i.e. the independence of a country that had not done the slightest harm to it since the Six-Day War. The highly mysterious Gaza incident – how could the undoubtedly terrorist but militarily weak Hamas cross the hotly contested and best-guarded border in the world with heavy weaponry unhindered and, undisrupted by the Israeli army, massacre and kidnap the civilian inhabitants of several border villages? – merely provided a smokescreen for the destruction of the helpless Northern Lebanon (which had nothing to do with it, or at least no more than anyone elsewhere on Earth did) in order to cut Syria off from its only lifeline (which leads through Hezbollah territory there, in Northern Lebanon, from the coast, which has been harassed by German warships for decades) and kill the last defenders of its land against the NATO-bred Islamic cutthroats and mass rapists. That had definitely not been planned this way; "The Good Club" had undoubtedly intended the slow bleeding to death of Syria to proceed according to the tried-and-tested Yugoslavian pattern, as is also intended for the remains of Russia, but now Trump’s coming into office threatened the rescue of the hard-hit country and so things had to happen quickly – there were only a few weeks left – and that is why things did happen quickly. By the time Trump was finally back in power, there was no independent Syria any more and the holocaust of its Alawite and Christian people was executed faster than Hitler’s was of the Jews. That’s really "free and democratic", isn’t it?! It worked, anyway.

But that was not enough. The insane military build-up of Ukraine, which danced to the tune of its powerful American sponsors even without the European relay station, on whose cringing, bloody obedience they could and can rely, prevented Trump from fulfilling his promise, which he had indeed been able to fulfil beforehand, to save Russian sovereignty or peace at Europe’s eastern border. That was his first lost point. He lost his second due to his lack of insight into human nature (as he had once before when filling a vacant federal judge post with a traitor, without whose decisive vote the fraudulent election would have been stopped by that very court) by getting Elon Musk, who is seriously neurotic but still definitely part of the ruling class, on board, upon which they paused their attacks on Trump, who had just gained popularity by freeing his people from the W ‘H’ O tyranny and thereby the Soros/Gates gang, and instead turned all their guns on Musk in all the countries ruled by them, which promptly filled up with anti-Musk graffiti and attacks (on his goods); he could not stand up to this barrage and quickly turned: the second loss of prestige for Trump, behind whom only the people stand, and they have no media of their own, but a lot of everyday concerns and therefore have little intellect or, what almost amounts to the same, overview (which was fittingly summed up by the prosaic Lenin in his phrase “What is to be done?"). Only that makes Trump really vulnerable, but also seriously vulnerable; because he has no loyal and enlightened party of the masses (the "Republicans" cannot be regarded as such) that could doggedly enlighten the divided people in local gatherings about the structure of and background to the events.

But his domestic enemies, who saw and see their absolute world domination (and the first one in world history), i.e. the Western wolf’s Maidan loot, under threat, did not let go, and are not letting go, and raised the stakes. As if the disgrace in Syria was not enough, they blatantly coerced Israel into what was the most cynical war of aggression of at least the last thousand years (Genghis Khan’s wars of aggression were more naïve than cynical, which was admittedly of no consolation to the victims), i.e. that against Iran, with the infamous justification that Iran may have nuclear weapons one day and therefore may attack Israel with them one day (which could be prevented extremely easily by an Israeli-US defence alliance, even in the event of local nuclear armament by the Mullah state, an option that the remains of Russia, which is directly next to Ukraine, which has been pumped up to the max by its deadly enemies, of whom it is at the mercy, with first-strike weapons that do not still need to be made, does not have). It is as remarkable as it is revolting that our aligned "quality media", which are otherwise so keen to use the word so monotonously, hammering repeatedly against the surrounded and helpless Russia, that never want to use the much louder and more morally convincing expression “war of aggression” against aggressive Israel, but even waffle – and have waffled in the past – about its "retaliatory strikes" before Iran had even thrown a toy torpedo onto its territory. Even Hitler avoided the expression "retaliatory strike" during his invasion of Poland, despite the WTC-like "Sender Gleiwitz", because intelligence and purity of language were more widespread in his time (which is why he had to resort to more open terror against the people than his constitutional successors – at least until today).

In this situation, under this pressure, Trump must have caved in. He is clearly thinking of sacrificing Iran (since Israel, covered by the American ruling class, is impudently refusing to obey him and provocatively continuing to bomb and kill – deliberately killing individuals, even designated in advance, is still murder, pure and simple, no rattling doublethink can get one out of this, and since there has been no attack it cannot be self-defence) in order to save Russia. This is a stupid idea, which will and must obviously have the opposite effect to that intended. We can only try to understand how this came about; to do this we must switch from the field of politics to that of psychology, since both fields are closely linked.

The best feature of the US, which separates it very conveniently from Europe, is freedom of religion (compare the treatment of Scientologists over there and over here and you will see the difference immediately). This is connected to its origins, which were mainly influenced by European, primarily English religious refugees; the expression "Pilgrim Fathers" should suffice. The second best, closely connected to the first, is anti-feudalism; this is what US citizens basically mean when they proudly talk of “democracy”, even if they are rarely clearly aware of it (just stick your nose into the old cult book "Tom Sawyer" and you will find it!), and this, and nothing else, is the true core of this usage (and should actually make real Yankees sick when they catch a whiff of a hand-severing oil sheikh even at a great distance, but since Mark Twain at least serious decadence has taken place). The freshly baked USA quickly filled itself from the feudal corners of Europe with all kinds of economic – and religious – refugees (and after 1848 many political refugees too), but they also brought different religions with them. This once again cemented the principle of freedom of religion that the US is rightly proud of to this day; there has never even been a hint of a state church there (which in Europe, as bad as the principle is, was still able to have some progressive, i.e. basically anti-feudal traits, in other words, when it was Protestant; this even applies to that very England from which Puritans, i.e. radical Calvinists, Quakers and many others either fled or were driven away).

But the true test of whether freedom of religion is meant seriously was the legal, unqualified equality of Jews; this was a difficult business even for the French Revolution (you can read about this in Graetz’s detailed history of it without being too distracted by his inevitably archaic language). For the Christian religion, to which even the pioneering settlers fleeing to North America from its ruling perverted forms belonged, expressly states, just as Mohammed does in his Koran (read Sure 4, for example!), the inferiority of Jews in its holy scriptures, in a manner not as parroting and vulgar as the founder of Islam, but even more fanatically: they, and not the Romans as was the case in reality, are the actual murderers of our Lord and Saviour and therefore "the children of Satan" (e.g. John 8:44). If one curbs ordered discrimination dictated by religion that can culminate in valid acts of law, such as reduced sentences for or lack of prosecution of those who carry out pogroms unlike differently motivated violators of the same state laws, that means that the freedom of religion is being prioritised over religious content; only then is it real because there are frequently objective conflicts between the two, in which no compromises are possible without breaching one or the other claim. The Jews naturally provided the touchstone for this in their time, first in France, then in the US (formally, the chronological order was the other way around, but it would require too much time to explain this in depth here). In France they replaced the atheists in this function once they had attained equality (the bolder enlighteners had all been atheists who had, however, been restricted much more in terms of their public effectiveness than the “deists”, who had merely refused commitment to any particular confession, because consistent religious criticism meant the death of feudalism). This aspect was missing in the US since there was no hereditary political power there, and certainly no enforced personal servitude (excluding slavery at this point). This is why the stereotype of “Jews good, Muslims bad” can be maintained in today’s typical American mentality, and no matter whether he agrees with this or not, since he is merely supported by the people, in whom it is rooted, and without any other power reserve, Trump must react to it. Because this stereotype has been embedded still further in two phases, also, of course, under the aspect of self-righteousness, which is beloved the world over: although real refugees were not welcome in the US when it came down to it (if they brought neither money or specialist skills with them, of course), they were able to feel themselves as saviours of the Jews when there were hardly any left, since they, with wise and tested calculation, attacked the German Reich, and therefore Hitler’s regime, conquered the most valuable part of its territory for itself towards the end of the war. This impression was reinforced by many Jews having fled to the US from the sinister Tsarist Empire about a generation and a half before and having been accepted benevolently (although they frequently had to suffer a little Christian-influenced anti-Semitism, it was not dangerous) and becoming a visible part of the population, which anyone who wished to see visible proof of the prevailing freedom of religion could rightly be proud of. There was very little to be sensed of Islam, good or bad, at that time; but in the last forty years or so it has, by means of demonstrative pampering, which started from the ruling class, of course, to which sullen, unenlightened and miserable subjects, for whom "letterboxes" and child-mutilators set an example, are preferable to self-aware and therefore materially demanding and vivacious citizens, become an emphasised antithesis to components, worthy of support, of the typical American “values”– freedom of religion, law and order and equality of the sexes (which did not reach the US until late on, but it did eventually...; the informally relatively good position of the women there, even during the pioneering era, resulted from their under-representation in terms of numbers) and anything in general associated with the term “freedom”, which is somewhat unclear and can be perverted but still very much upheld, especially in the US. The esteem these values are held in once again connects Trump to his voters, whom he must not lose. But then a more sinister trait comes in the establishment of the stereotype of “Jews good, Muslims bad”, which is recent in this form but grew from an old tradition, which does not represent the reaction to the existing, and indeed disgusting, traits of Islam – that trait that made the Jews unlikeable to the Roman imperialists in the bar Giora era and later in the bar Kokhba era: their unbendingness to imperialism. It cannot simply be said that all the Muslims support this, since of all people it is the mediaeval stinkers from the Arabian peninsula who are very willing to cooperate with the imperial power, i.e. the US (and they scandalously, in opposition to all of those “American values”, do not support their local opponents from southern Yemen to the Houthis but fight them instead); yet it was Khomeini’s anti-imperialistic Iran that set an example similar to that of ancient Judea, that the world should not belong to the "Good Club" and its governments and armies, meaning that he is heartily hated (unlike Syria, which could be recognised from the outset as a merely passive victim of American imperialism, whose conquest the American people were supposed to, but did not want to, carry and pay for for its de facto rulers, and initially bravely prevented through mass demonstrations, very much in contrast to their lickspittling European counterparts, who gobbled up all the shit churned out by the press without any conscience) by everyone who has the exact opposite opinion (as the European colonialists, so terribly disapproved of today, did analogously, who urgently had to bring civilisation to their conquered outposts, which if it had happened with unselfish intentions there would have been nothing to object to). But the American people must not be overestimated or even idealised either: the secret yet practised imperial claim sits deep in a great many of them, even if they are rarely aware of this (because this would have to lead to that calculation and understanding with which this investigation was opened).

Trump must consider this part of his voters, which may be small but is definitely present, especially those in the army who will be receptive to it: what general does not prefer an advance to a retreat? Since he wants to save the world from the world domination of US capitalism, which will irrevocably occur with the destruction of the remains of Russia, Trump was and is forced into a balancing act in this situation; in order to defuse the suspicion of insufficient aggression against this arch-enemy, which has been embedded as such since the proletarian, i.e. anti-capitalist revolution, in the US that is held together by its giga-capitalists and therefore also determined in its mentality, Trump had to make a few nonsensical (and never seriously meant) declarations of intent when assuming office about invading Greenland and the formal annexation of the Panama Canal (which, as he well knows, would change absolutely nothing in terms of the actual conditions) in order to shake off the secret reputation of wanting to give up conquests that have already been made. A balancing act that has now over-challenged the skilfulness of Trump, who has been and is being viciously plagued by all parties. He has now trodden on the Israeli-Iranian egg, and that is fatal. Remember: for decades, from the first days of Khomeini’s seizure of power onwards, our governments and the aligned media danced around the mullah regime with revolting obsequiousness, threw the most popular television stars under the bus – or onto the road to Canossa – for the most harmless satires of the old Ayatollah to please him (e.g. show master Rudi Carrell), fell over themselves to play down the most evil Islamic atrocities, from the cutting off of hands to stoning for adultery, from the murder of the Baha’i in their native land to the enforced wearing of the chador and acid thrown into the faces of the disobedient; we were bombarded with one adulation of fairness and understanding after another for decades, while we always and with the utmost clarity stated all the crimes and turpitudes of Islam in power unlike the pro-religious lick-spittlers of the aligned media, as any Ketzerbriefe (Heretics’ Letters) reader will confirm. Our reward for this was an onslaught of mud thrown at us by those who scream loudest against Iran today, the same Iran that they knelt for respectfully, while at the same time playing down even the most atrocious of deeds, because that is what the quality media of their trans-Atlantic masters and sponsors wanted. That never prevented us from supporting Khomeini against American control of Iran (indirectly via Reza Pahlevi), because national sovereignty, on which the Soviet Union, particularly under Lenin, had to insist firmly against its raging enemies, stands above any content of rule over any given country. (If the imperialists weren’t so keen on eliminating atrocities in countries that do not belong to them, the first and most urgent thing they should have to do would be put an end to genital mutilation, especially that of girls, in a host of countries that would be extremely easy to occupy, because even the painless death of the girls affected would in truth not be as bad; instead of this, they actually promote their terrible and intentionally humiliating mutilation and spread any poison through their aligned media in all its forms in order to play down said atrocity). The reason for our "sovereignist" position is simply of a reasonable nature because it is mathematical: a national revolution against a national government, however evil it may be, is infinitely easier to carry out than a world revolution. And it can be sufficiently supported by generous granting of asylum and freedom of speech for its fleeing enemies. Every people must then decide how to continue, but above all they must also be able to do it. By contrast, it is extremely difficult for the whole of humanity to do it in one go.

Trump has been tempted by the stereotype described above, which is in the heads of people not only in his country but in those of many others too, albeit clearly unwillingly, into sacrificing his claim to be a president of peace. At this point we must refuse him any support in future, because his cause is now lost; the whole world will have to face the music for it. That is tragic and bad for all those who now occupy this world, which is heading for wretchedness and servitude, but this does not diminish our disgust at Trump’s enemies and persecutors one iota and nor should it diminish anyone else’s.

Update from 1 July 2025

We had several letters in response to the above article that gave hope to the idea that Trump’s back-pedalling was only temporary; some events and information from this last week do actually indicate this, but it is very difficult to decide at the moment and of course we would be very (!) relieved about this. But we must always beware of illusions: the fact remains that the warmongers of the S/R gang have their eyes firmly set on the target and Netanyahu or Zelensky, under their cover (or on their orders), may start further provocations at any time and be sure of manoeuvring Trump into a tight military spot once again. And independently of how destructive the American attacks on the Iranian nuclear facilities really were, Trump would have been better off refraining from these attacks with reference to his head of the Secret Service, who did not publicly confirm any evidence of a military nuclear programme, and pulled Netanyahu back like he did, thank God, after the US bombing in breach of the ceasefire imposed by Trump by Israel (upon which the controlled provocateur promptly back-pedalled, for now at least).

Now, one week after the events, it appears as if Trump has reached for the military hammer – the heaviest below the atomic threshold – in order to set an exclamation mark aimed at the impudent provocateurs and obstructers in Israel and Europe: thus speaks the Lord, and that’s enough now. That has worked until now, but if he has gambled, he has gambled “bigly”. And he has done this in flagrant breach of international law, to which even Iran, no matter your opinion of it, has a right of recourse (in this context, one should not forget that Trump demanded “unconditional surrender” from the attacked country after Israel’s first strikes; this is a monstrosity on its own, let alone the bestial murder of 14 Iranian scientists). In any case, state sovereignty remains an inalienable right, even though this right has been trodden down since the downfall of the Eastern Bloc in the ugly, routine US fashion. By doing this, Trump has contaminated himself a little; this ugly stain will unfortunately remain on his jacket. But ultimately, of course, it is the result that counts: if Trump, who is unquestionably under immense pressure on all domestic and international political fronts, succeeds in the truly Herculean task of stopping the warmongers of the S/R gang and their vassals and puppets, then hope really would return to the world.
